Have you ever wondered what the Bible says about sex? (Or maybe doesn’t say about sex?)
Join Chett Pritchett, executive director of the Methodist Federation for Social Action, as he helps us explore assumptions about sex and sexuality found in Scripture (or not found in Scripture) and provides a different way of exploring bible study that can be useful far beyond this scandalous topic.
Chett Pritchett currently serves as the executive director of the Methodist Federation for Social Action, based in Washington, DC. Chett is a native of the Mid-Ohio Valley, having graduated from Frontier High School in 1995. He’s also a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV and Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. “Seminary-trained, but not ordained,” Chett has been a campus minister, worked in Christian retail and faith-based non-profits, and has served as Lay Leader at Dumbarton United Methodist Church in Washington, DC. Rooted in the idea that stories have power, Chett helps people of faith tell their stories to create change in both Church and society.
Join us Sunday evening, Nov. 23, at The Marietta Brewing Company for a compelling night of good food, good drink, and good conversation.
Happy Half-Hour: 6:30pm
