June 1 Gathering: Implicit Bias and White Privilege

With racial tensions on the rise yet again in America, a conversation needs to be had about the systemic injustices inherent in our culture and public institutions.

This Monday at New Wineskins, we’ll talk about implicit bias and white privilege and how recognizing our own prejudices can help us work toward a more equitable society for all.

In order to prepare for this week’s conversation, you’re invited to take an online implicit bias test. Click here to go to Harvard University’s Project Implicit page where you can select from a number of Implicit Association Tests (IATs). Select the “Race IAT” option to complete the racial bias assessment.

Join us Monday, June 1, in our Virtual Pub on Zoom to join this important conversation.

Connection opens at 6:00pm
Conversation begins at 6:30pm
