Aug. 23 Gathering: Prayers for Spiritual Exiles

Prayer has always been central to most, if not all world religions.

And yet many people admittedly struggle with the practice of prayer.

How do I pray? What should I pray for? What good does prayer do?

For folks who are trying to grow into a deeper, more holistic, more experiential faith, these are very legitimate questions. Ones that deserve more than formulaic answers.

This week at New Wineskins, we’ll talk about prayer—what it is, what it isn’t, and how we might reimagine the purpose and practice of prayer, both privately and corporately.

Join us in our New Wineskins Virtual Pub this Sunday, Aug. 23, as we explore each other’s questions, doubts, and hopes about one of the most ancient practices of our faith traditions.

Zoom connection opens at 6:00pm for “Happy Half-Hour.”
Conversation begins at 6:30pm
