Sept. 6 Gathering: The holiness of work

As we gather together this Labor Day weekend, we at New Wineskins want to celebrate the holiness of work and the various labor movements that have and continue to fight for the rights of working class people around the world.

While we often complain about our jobs because they so often takes us away from other pursuits we truly love, our work—properly understood, (and whether or not it results in a paycheck)—can be deeply meaningful expressions of our connection to and relationship with the Divine.

Join us in our New Wineskins Virtual Pub this Sunday, Sept. 6, as we discuss the importance of the work we all do and how it can reflect the Imago Dei within us all.

Happy half-hour connection opens at 6:00pm
Conversation begins at 6:30pm
