Reconciling Minstries Network Poll

During our June 20, 2021 gathering, guest speaker Helen Ryde invited New Wineskins to consider affiliating with the Reconciling Ministries Network as a Regional Reconciling Community.

In becoming recognized as a Reconciling Community, we agree to the following statement of affirmation and advocacy:

“We celebrate God’s gift of diversity and value the wholeness made possible in community equally shared and shepherded by all. We welcome and affirm people of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, who are also of every age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, level of education, and family structure, and of every economic, immigration, marital, and social status, and so much more. We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities. As followers of Jesus, we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed.”

You are invited to participate in the poll below to help us discern whether to affiliate with RMN. All answers are confidential. Deadline to participate is June 30, 2021.

Please note: you do not have to be a member of The United Methodist Church to be part of a Reconciling Ministries Network Community. Reconciling Communities are broadly ecumenical and welcome people of all faith traditions or no faith tradition at all. All means all, y’all!
