Join us this Friday, April 10, at 6:00pm for our first-ever New Wineskins Good Friday observance, "A Death to Awaken: A Virtual Good Friday Liturgy for Spiritual Exiles."
We resume our regular 1st & 3rd Monday schedule for Wineskins Workshops on Monday, April 6, with a look into how Jesus moves his audience from deconstruction toward reconstruction in Matthew 6.
Our discussion will center around how Jesus uses a traditional rabbinic teaching style to help his followers deconstruct their inherited faith systems.
If you're planning to join us for our March 23 virtual gathering via Zoom, please use the link below to log in to the call. The connection will open at 6:00pm and our conversation will begin at 6:30. https://zoom.us/j/305212123
Starting Monday, March 23, we’ll be meeting online via the ZOOM platform. ZOOM is a videoconferencing app that’s available for Windows, MacOS, and Smart Phone operating systems.
Jesus had spent the introductory segment of the Sermon on the Mount laying the groundwork for how he was about to help his disciples deconstruct their understanding of the Law of Moses. Now, he will use a typical rabbinic teaching technique to take them not away from the Law, but deeper into it.
New Wineskins is concerned for the health and well-being of our community. While our current plan is to continue to hold our Gatherings and Workshops every Monday evening, we are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and public health guidelines as they evolve.
